Winter Packing List
Winter hunts are usually traveled using snow machines and the weather could get down to 40 below. This means you need to wear hunting attire in layers (lots for the snow machine rides with wind). When we hike you can take off some outer layers and stay comfortable!
- Clothing
- Boots with inserts
- Heavy long johns, top and bottoms
- Heavy socks (wool)
- Waterproof jacket and pants
- Snow blend camo or white outer wear
- Wool stocking cap
- Gloves, 2 pairs
- Insulated bibs
- Insulated coat
- Heavy hunting shirts
- Neck warmer
- Snow shoes
- Equipment & Arms
- .30 Caliber or larger rifle
- Shooting sticks (or other stabilizing device)
- Leather or hiking boots
- Rifles and Shotguns are available for borrowing
Fall, Spring, and Summer packing list
These seasons are usually quite mild for us. Plan for generally moderate temperatures in the fall and spring. Occasionally dipping below freezing and probably raining. Summers are usually perfect. Highs in the 70’s and 80’s. A few general things to remember…

- Camouflage pants, shirts, and hat
- Long johns
- Rain gear if camouflage clothes are not waterproof
- Baseball or wool hat
- Rubber boots
- Gloves
- Tennis shoes for casual wear
- Jeans and shirt
- Light jacket or vest

- Waterproof matches or lighter
- Hunting Knife & Sharpener

- Fishing Rod with Trout tackle
- 410 or 28 Gauge Shotgun for Small Game
